Fitness Circle and Flex-Band shows you how to intensify NAFTA
PILATES matwork exercises and add variety to your pilates programming using the
Fitness Circle resistance ring and Flex-Band exerciser.
Power
Fitness Circle is a fast-paced workshop designed to help you add
intensity as well as upper and lower body resistance training to pilates matwork
using the NAFTA Fitness Circle exerciser.
Flex-Band
allows you to integrate reformer-like exercises into your matwork routine using
the Flex-Band to simulate spring resistance and add variety.
Arc
Barrell shows you how to enhance pilates matwork and yoga using the
Small or Arc Barrel to improve flexibility and torso stability and to modify
exercises.
Mini Ball shows a unique and progressive
routine with a small stability ball. You will learn how to combine traditional
exercises with the ball to enhance your awareness of core
stabilization.
Resist A Ball shows a unique and
progressive routine with a Resist a Ball. You will learn how to combine
traditional exercises with the ball to enhance your awareness of core
stabilization.

- Essential, intermediate, and power workouts
- Effective communication, visual skills, verbal cuing, and imagery for performance enhancement and client motivation
- How to apply NAFTA biomechanical principles for precision training
- How to develop dynamic programs for one-on-one and circuit training
Requirements
The following eligibility requirements have been implemented for the certification exam:
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- You must hold adult CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) certification and it must be current at the time of the exam. Those submitting proof of CPR with their application will be exempt from future CPR audits, up to the expiration date of the certification. (You may sit for the exam without proof of CPR; however, you will not receive your exam results until you provide proof of current CPR certification.)
- You must hold current certification in Basic First Aid and it must be current at the time of the exam. Those submitting proof of First Aid Certification with their application will be exempt from future audits, up to the expiration date of the certification. (You may sit for the exam without proof of First Aid Certification; however, you will not receive your exam results until you provide proof of current First Aid certification.)
- In order to take the Certification exams, you must attend the NAFTA workshop for the specific certification you are pursuing and have taken the practical examination component prior to receiving your on line access to the written exam.
Recertification
To get recertified in this certification you either need to earn 15 CEU's or take a new certification workshop. To apply for recertification, please log in to your account.
