The mitochondria cell is the source of all forms of energy. There was simply not enough time in 10 years (1996-2006) to study and describe all the substrates required for optimal mitochondria energy metabolism. Hypothetically, many, many, many exogenous substances improve the mitochondria cell’s ability to generate more energy upon demand. Whether an oral dose of these substrates advance energy production affecting antiaging and exercise capacity depends upon the individual scientist’s interpretation of the literature.
